Does anyone have a template that can help me repair my credit report? I am in the process of repairing my credit. I have a copy of my report from each agency, and I have support to show that many of these credit lines are inaccurate or incomplete. however, I would like to know how to format my response so that the reporting agency can understand my response more clearly. Any suggestions are appreciated:)
Whats is illegal on credit report repair? I seing people advertizing making your credit get a bust of 120 points in 30 day for 29 a month! Is that legal. They do not explain what they do, or how they do and the legal consequences.
should i pay someone to dispute items on my credit report to repair my bad credit? I am about to graduate from college and I would really like to improve my horrible credit score (541), all of which come from charged off credit cards when I first started college :-( A friend of mine found this guy who she says repaired her credit for about $500 by disputing negative items on her report and getting them removed, which made it alot easier for her to get a new car, and soon she will by buying a house. Should I go to this guy?? Does that stuff really work?? I would like to do it myself, but I wouldn't even know where to start and I would not have the time, especially with work and school... credit report repair, what does it all mean and what can I do to help ? Hi,I am working Identiy Guard and it isn't expensive and all they do is provide updates when someone accesses my report and helps me contact issues. But I have settled via attorney 99.9% of my accounts, and like it says I have a credit card open that isn't open. To whom do i turn to get help just to understand it because I want it as clean as possible to raise my FICO score and because it has a lot of errors on it that would help my score. But I just don't understand all of the terminology there ? Any help or advice, please do not yahoo search and copy site, I need some practical person experienced device. They even say I should open a new credit card account because I haven't had any for 6 years and I need to show I can have one and pay it. ???

I read online all the time about companies that repair your credit report, can that really be done? I get emails and read online about companies, like Lexington.com, that claim they can repair your credit report, "permanently remove negative items off your credit report". Of course, they charge a 99.00 start up fee, and then 79.00 a month. Considering a credit report can stop you from getting a loan, stop you from getting credit of any kind, it can stop you from getting a job. I was referred by Wells Fargo Bank to a credit repair specialist to fix negative items on my credit report? I am wondering if anyone has done this and has it worked? Do the items truely stay off your report? He is wanting his fee upfront and I've read that you shouldn't have to pay until services are completed. Is this true as well? I'm confused because Wells Fargo referred me and I want to think it is reputable otherwise why would they ask me if I wanted these services? Any advice would be extremely helpful! Thank You!

Is there a way to repair your credit by sending registered letters denying the debts to the credit report cos. I have heard this often. That you can send registered letters denying the debts one by one to the three credit reporting bureaus and if they didn't provide proof of the debts within 30 days or something that they had to remove the debts. Everything except judgements. Is this true? If so, how is it done exactly?
How to repair an error on my credit report? I have a collection on my credit report from the old AT&T, when they had wireless products (cell phone.) I paid my account in full, but when I went to check my credit report it says that I owe them $5.00 and they put me in collections. Now when I called the collection department to dispute it, the collection department no longer exists because AT&T wireless no longer exists!! Any suggestion on what I should do? Is it possible to get my credit report repaired? the thing is is that back in may 2005 i had a car accident but i had full coverage with $5000 to cover my medical bills. turns out my insurance company never paid for these 3 bills! So now i have poor credit! Now my insurance is saying that they can still pay them! but the damage is already done! after sending them my bills to them AGAIN what will happen with my credit score or report? will it still be bad? or can i dispute this and get it off my record cause my insurrance lied to me saying they had paid my bills and another thing it took them two years to fianlly pay the other party. and they only paid it because i was now being sued! what can i do about this matter?
How do I repair my credit report. Due to Credit Bureau mess up.? In Feb of 1998 I declared bankruptcy. In the 10 years that followed, my credit behavior has been excellent. I have bought and paid off 2 homes, always pay more than is owed on credit cards and bills and payments are always on time. Before February 2008 my credit was excellent. After Feb 2008, when the bankruptcy was taken off the report, 3 accounts that were cleared with the bankruptcy are placed back on under collections. Next, my father who passed away in 2001, his social security number and info has now been mixed with my reports and they now show that I had credit cards at 4 years old and am officially deceased. Credit Repair help! I have paid every bill owed on my credit report, meaning I am debt free, READ ON? however even though all my debts are paid (what a great feeling) my credit report is a mess because these lousy creditors have not updated my report. So in reveiwing my report I am so over whelmed by the amount of items that are incorrectly reported, that I know have to fix. I simply do not have time to do this myself between work and school. My credit report is outdated reflecting a negative score. Are there any companies to hire to help correct? I have a (really) bad credit score. I earned it in the late 90s (right after graduating college '97 - '99). Seven years have gone by but nothing has dropped off. Is it possible to remove credit inquiries from my credit report? Over the course of about three months I went on a desperate auto loan shopping spree. I was trying incredibly hard to get approved under my own name with only a year worth of credit history because I have no willing/able co-signer. I've recieved about 20 inquiries and my credit score dropped over 50 points from the original 730 I had, bringing me from excellent credit to between fair and poor. The investigations have just been completed in the last few days. Most of the accounts were deleted, but my scores haven't changed. Has anyone had accounts deleted from their credit? Credit Repair?? I have satisfied most of the items on my credit report.? My # is 630 and i have old satisfied and paid accounts on my report and would like to get them removed. Is Credit Repair really effective and how much would you pay for it if it is? A good credit report is very important for living a comfortable life of financial freedom but it's difficult to recover fom a bad credit report once you've made a few mistakes.
