  1. Yes. Credit Bureau's dont really care too much about divorce decrees. If it was taken out in your name.. its gonna be reported in your name.
  2. yes
  3. yes
  4. Nope, if your name is on it, and it has been reporting to the bureau, it still is reporting.
  5. I'm not sure what your question is. Any credit card balance in your name applies to you on your credit report. If some court has ordered someone else to pay the debt off, and they don't, they are in contempt of court perhaps, but it remains your debt.
  6. Your divorce decree means NOTHING to your debtors. Even if the divorce says that the other one should pay the debt, if they don't it still hits your credit. Your only option would be to pay the debt off yourself, and then sue your ex to comply with the terms of the divorce. Sorry and good luck
  7. I have been doing finance and looking at credit now for almost 8-years and Gem is correct. Divorce decrees mean nothing to creditors because they had no part in the agreement. The debt will show on your report so long as it's in your name and the payment history will affect you either good or bad depending on how your ex makes the payments.
