Last late payment they report month ago, but i never been late more then 10 days in 3 years ( just 3 time few days late) Is that true this is going to stay for 7 years even if I pay all the balance?

  1. Just pay on time every month. Your credit will not be "bad" after three late payments.
  2. A pure delinquency is at least THIRTY days past due (that is, 30 days past the PAYMENT DUE DATE) If you pay your credit card 10 days late, you may incur a late fee with your creditor, but for purposes of credit reporting, you are not delinquent. You need to be at least 30 days past the PAYMENT DUE DATE to be delinquent for credit reporting purposes. With such leeway, we consumers really have little excuse to act like we can't do SOMETHING between day 1 of "past due" and day 29 of "past due". On day 30 -- you are delinquent and the bureaus will know about it! If you pay at least THIRTY DAYS past the payment due date, then yes, the negative item will report on your credit report for seven years and then drop off. It's as if you have broken a mirror -- seven years of bad luck. That is why it is VERY important that you pay on time and call your creditor when you KNOW that you may not have the ability to pay the amount due within 30 days after the payment due date. Perhaps, you and the creditor may be able to work out a special payment arrangement for your extraordinary situation. This payment arrangement might help the creditor to avoid reporting you for delinquency.
  3. If you were not more then 30 days late, it should not be reported on your credit score. Check out the two articles below. One tells you how your score is determined...the other tells you how to turn negatives on your credit report into positives thereby bringing your score up in 30 days. If you do not do a credit clean up, then yes...it will stay on for 6 to 8 years depending on the TRW Company. Hope this helps.
