Repair Credit Report Help

Fraud by family, What do I do now? How do i fix it on my credit report?

So my father took my info and opened credit cards in 2003-2004. I recently looked at my file and there is more in 2007. I put a fraud alert on my account. But now what? Contact the collection agencies? Any step by step instructions would be great. Thank you

  1. Police report and send that along to the credit card companies. Write down everything and who you speak to. Once that is done submit the info to the credit reporting agencies. Your big call is going to be in getting the police involved. If you don't this could continue forever and you will be screwed.
  2. My Wife went through this with her Son a few years ago and the only way to clear it up is to file a report with the police and send copies to both the credit card companies and the credit bureaus. Weather or not the credit card companies or the police will do anything to your Dad is up to them, but they did nothing to my Wife's Son. Within a month my Wife's credit was cleared.
  3. Probably you have some wrong items in your credit report. Use credit repair service to find and remove such bad stuff from your credit - creditreport.undonet.com
  4. Are you by any chance a Junior?Mistakes happen often when there is a Junior adn Senior with the same name. Tell the credit bureau and which accounts are not your. Ask them to double check by SSN and age to be certain these debts should be on your credit report instead of your fathers.
