Repair Credit Report Help
Credit Repair?
I defaulted on a revolving credit account several months ago and will start payments again starting now. What can I expect for them to do about the bad credit they have reported on this account? Please don't answer with multiple l-o-a-n offers. I'm not looking for that.

- the reports they made will stay on your credit for 7 years. As you make new on time payments they will report those too. As time goes by, the old late payments will count for less and less until they are gone after 7 years.

- As long as the information is correct they will do nothing.
- Is this payment plan with the original creditor or with a collection agency? If it's the original creditor, 24 months of consistent, on time payment will pretty much offset the negative aspect of the default. However, if this is to a collection agency, it will just show as a paid collection and won't help your credit score at all. Although paid old debt does look better than unpaid.

- now see, there are many ways to repair your credit, and you know how to do them you probably just don't feel like it, or you just don't want to.
