do those credit repair services work?
do those credit repair services work. i have spoken to a few of them and they told me that they are able to get late satisfied payments off my credit report and the also told me that they are able to remove a bankruptcy off my report that is 8 years old. how do they work and what is desputing and item mean.

- They don't do anything you couldn't do yourself ... and they will charge you for it. Make repairing your credit a hobby for the next month or two and you'll get the same things done, without paying.
- I would have to agree. Any credit repair that needs doing can and should be done by you. By the time you spend the one or two thousand dollars you would be charged from one of those companies, you probably could have cleared up some of your debt.
